Jody Zarn is an Instructional Designer in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she spends her free time buying coffee for random strangers and helping those in need.

Jody’s mission in life is to make the world a better place through small, random acts of kindness.

Founder of the Laps 4 Life Fun Run and virtual run, she was able to bring a community together to support Manitoba families affected by Batten disease.

Jody also created other community based initiatives, including the IFIGHT4U virtual marathon, supporting The Hummingbird Project, and the Ice cream for Ann Day, created to honour Ann Frank and encourage people to be kind to their fellow neighbors.

Jody is currently writing a book and developing a Ted Talk to honour her friendship and journey with local Winnipeg community member, Leroy Adams.
